chamber with adjustable floor pattern allows for hydraulic,
pneumatic, and Electro-Dynamic Shaker cycling at temperature. Twin
25 HP compressors also allow for extremely fast ramp rates.

Rearward
Load Fatigue
Using pneumatics or hydraulics a rearward load
can be applied too any seat back. Pivot joints are used to allow the
loading point to rotate with the seat back. Frequencies exceeding
the standard 30 CPM can be easily obtained depending on the
flexibility of the test sample.

actuator LVDT, string potentiometers, and calibrated dial
indicators.

Handle Durability

recliner handle through its full range of motion until failure. Load
control at each end stop to simulate an operator over torque to the
test sample can be simulated.

be applied anywhere to a seat track or riser assembly. Advanced
Testing & Engineering will create a customized set-up and deliver
the required data acquisition to insure precise and supported test
data.
Seat Track
Load vs. Displacement
Apply any load up to 50,000 lbs. using
hydraulics or pneumatics and record the effect it has on the system
using calibrated displacement instrumentation.
Ultimate
Load Strength
Apply any load up to 50,000 lbs. at a constant
ramp rate until sample failure. Customized set-ups insure that the
portion of the test sample being tested is the main focus and load
bearing piece. Almost any displacement or load data can be recorded
per customer specifications.
Vertical
Loading
Using pneumatics or hydraulics a required load
can be applied to any seat cushion including one with more than one
occupant position. Displacement measurements will be recorded at
locations specified by the customer.
Vibration
Vibrate any complete seat or its component at
frequencies up to 3,000 Hz. Sine, random, or sine on random
vibration profiles are available to meet customer needs. Noise and
structural evaluations are performed as the customer requires.
